A cinematographer who runs the production, not a producer who hires one.
Fire Plug Films is led by Paul Cain, a commercial cinematographer and director of photography with sixteen years shooting commercials, documentaries, feature films, branded films, music videos and broadcast for agencies, studios and production companies.
He shoots every job himself. Around him we build the crew the project actually needs — from a two-person documentary unit to a full commercial crew — drawn from people we've worked with for years in Nashville and on location.
That means one creative voice from the first call to final delivery, and nothing lost in the handoff between the company that shot it and the company that cut it.
We work throughout the United States and internationally. Passports are current.
